The Restaurant Côté Loire in Blois, an ideal halt in the heart of the Loire Valley

Halfway between Tours and Orleans, in the heart of the Loire Valley (World Heritage UNESCO), Blois stretches along both banks of the Loire. On its right bank / norththe little Beauce, ecological Natura 2000 site and on its left bank / south, Sologne, forests and ponds offer landscapes and natural environments of exceptional variety and rich biodiversity.

Situated on the quiet banks of the royal river, the City of Art and History of Blois reveals a remarkable historical heritage all around with some exceptional natural sites. Many remains bear witness to its prestigious past with pride of place going to the royal castle that houses the Museum of Fine Arts, churches including Saint-Nicolas, the St. Louis Cathedral, the old medieval center ... A walk along the banks of the Loire is ideal for taking in the best of the beauty and wealth of the city.

History, of course, but also modernity, Blois offers a dynamic program in the field of art (performing arts, exhibitions, cultural events of all kinds ...) which can be appreciated in several places: the grain hall, the national stage of the Doute Foundation; the concert hall of Chato'do ... and even in the Museum of Magic.

And then, a few miles from our hotel the Côté Loire attractions not to be missed: Chaumont sur Loire and its International Garden Festival, the prestigious vineyards of Touraine, Beauval zoo and park and of course the many castles of the Loire form the reputation of our region, including Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Chenonceau.
